What Is Assisted Living?
Assisted living is a home for older adults who need help or supervision with daily life, like bathing, dressing, eating or taking medicines. At Satyak this comes with doctors, 24x7 nursing, meals and activities, in a homely setting.
What Does "Doctor-Led" Mean at Satyak?
Satyak was founded by doctors, including two psychiatrists. Dr. Ninad Baste visits every working day and supervises residents' health, and experienced physicians visit as needed.
When Is It Time to Consider Assisted Living?
When daily tasks become hard or unsafe to manage alone. In healthy ageing that may be quite late, but with illnesses like diabetes, high blood pressure, dementia or a stroke, help is often needed earlier.
Are Staff Available at Night?
Yes. Nurses and attendants are on duty round the clock, so residents have care day and night, including in an emergency.
Do You Care for Both Men and Women?
Yes, Satyak cares for both men and women.
Admissions and Cost
How Does Admission Work?
Call or WhatsApp us, visit the home, and our doctor assesses your parent's needs. We then share a care plan and a personalised quote, and agree a day for your parent to move in.

The cost depends on the room type, the level of care your parent needs and the length of stay. We share a personalised quote after the doctor's assessment. Call or WhatsApp us to start.
Can My Parent Come for a Short Stay First?
Yes. Short stays are a good way for your parent to settle in and for you to see our care before deciding on anything longer.
Can You Admit Someone Urgently, for Example After a Hospital Discharge?
Please call us, and send the discharge summary on WhatsApp. Our doctor will tell you what your parent needs and how soon we can admit them.
Daily Life
What Do Residents Do During the Day?
Days follow a gentle routine with physiotherapy, group activities, drawing, painting, games, music, walks and rest. Every festival and birthday is celebrated together.
What Food Do You Serve?
Veg and non-veg meals, cooked fresh in our own kitchen. Tell us about any diet your parent needs and our team will discuss it with you.
What Rooms Are Available?
Twin-sharing, 4-sharing and 6-sharing rooms. We help you choose the one that suits your parent's needs.

When Can Families Visit?
Families are welcome. Please call us to plan your visit, so the team can make time for you.
How Will We Know How Our Parent Is Doing?
We keep families updated and talk with you before any important decision about your parent's care. Families living abroad can stay in touch by phone and WhatsApp.
